How To Modify The Behavior Of UAC Using Local Security Policy ! Windows7 Tips !

Today most of the systems come with Windows 7, so we have to be aware of it. Therefore, we have given a few tips to handle your Windows 7 in a different manner. If your system has the Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate edition of Windows 7, you can use the Local Security Policy console in order to modify the behavior of UAC. You can open Start Local Security Policy just by typing secpol.msc on the run command. Then open Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options. In the details Pane, you can scroll down to the policies whose names start with “User Account Control”. For each of the policy, double-click it and click the Explain Tab for information before you are going to decide the settings.

There you can find ten policies, where you will be able to refine in the way UAC works comprising some that are impossible in the User Account Control Settings window. If you still have any doubts, you can see UAC Group Policy Settings and Registry Key Settings.
