Google Reader starts supporting Video and Audio tags

This is one of the finest features from the Google. Google’s Feed Reader has begun to support the Video and Audio Tags from feeds. Internet Explorer is the only popular web browser not to support these two tags. However, it doesn’t mean that you can play all the videos without installing any plug-ins in all other Browsers. As the provided screenshot shows, Firefox and Opera don’t support the H.264 compression standard. Therefore, playing the videos from sites that only use H.264 is not possible.

Even if the Video sites like YouTube and Vimeo have begun to test HTML5 Players, they don’t have any option in order to play the Videos using the HTML5 Tags. You can check these details from the provided screenshot.
