How to verify DNS capability

We know you’re a genius mind. However, we would like to provide you the steps verify the DNS Capability. Although there are many methods available, this is one of the finest steps to verify the DNS Capability to query AOL’s DNS record as it is an important part to send the E-mail. You can follow the following procedure with a variety of the Operating Systems comprising Windows, UNIX and Linux.  If you’re going to verify and resolve aol.com's MX records, don’t replace the “aol.com” with your own Domain.
If you’re doing from a Command Prompt, type the following command.
nslookup -q=mx aol.com



This command searches for the domain names and IP numbers belonging to the aol.com receiving mail servers. These are referred to as MX records. AOL's MX records are mailin-[01-04].mx.aol.com.
This command is used to search for the domain names and IP Addresses that belong to the aol.com receiving mail servers.

These are the MX records. Whereas, AOL’s MX records are mailin-[01-04].mx.aol.com.
