Connect Outlook and Facebook accounts with Microsoft Outlook Social Connector Provider

Okay, now what you have to do for that? Just connect your Facebook account to the Social Connector. It is fair enough to stay updated in your network.
The Microsoft Outlook Social Connector Provider for Facebook lets you connect the Facebook account to the Outlook Social Connector and obtain information about your friends and colleagues. Moreover, you can see the status updates and recently posted items from your Facebook contacts.
At the same time, you can use the Outlook Social Connector in order to display a quick and easy review of related Outlook content when you click on an E-mail from a contact such as recent e-mail conversations, meetings, and shared attachments to help you easily track your communications. The Connector requires Microsoft Outlook Social Connector and the related update to be installed. If you’ve not installed the required updates, the Microsoft Outlook Social Connector Provide will download and installed the necessary updates from the Microsoft Download Center before completing the provider installation.

How to install the downloaded file

For Outlook 2010 32-bit, Outlook 2007, and Outlook 2003:

1.    Once you finish the download process, double click on the OSCFB-x86-en-us.exe to start the Setup program.
2.    Then, follow the simple onscreen instructions to finish the process.

For Outlook 2010 64-bit:
1.    Once you finish the download process, double click on the OSCFB-x64-en-us.exe to start the Setup program.
2.    Then, follow the simple onscreen instructions to finish the process.

How to use

Once you finish the installation process, restart Outlook. Then, you will be prompted by the Outlook Social Connector configuration wizard to connect to Facebook.
•    You have to select Facebook under Social Network Accounts.
•    Then, enter your Facebook E-mail account for the User Name.
•    Now, you’ve to enter your Facebook password for Password.
•    Then, click Connect.
•    If you click on Connect the connection will be initiated.
•    Once the connection is complete, click on Finish.
•    That’s it.

•    At the same time, if you’re not prompted by the Outlook Social Connector configuration wizard, what you will you do? Don’t worry. You can still connect to Facebook.
For Outlook 2010:
1.    You have to click People Pane and then click Account Settings from the View tab in the People Pane group.
2.    Then, select Facebook under Social Network Accounts.
3.    Now, enter your Facebook E-mail account for User Name.
4.    Then, enter your Facebook password for Password.
5.    Now, click Connect.
6.    Once the connection is complete, click on Finish.
7.    That’s it.

For Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2003:
1.    Open Network Account Settings from Tools.
2.    Then, select Facebook under Social Network Accounts.
3.    Then, select Facebook under Social Network Accounts.
4.    Now, enter your Facebook E-mail account for User Name.
5.    Then, enter your Facebook password for Password.
6.    Now, click Connect.
7.    Once the connection is complete, click on Finish.
8.    That’s it.
