Google’s Street View Cars are getting ready to reach the road again

Now, the Google’s Street View Cars are getting ready to reach the road again. Earlier, it was sidelined in May over their unauthorized collection of people’s WiFi data. “As we’ve cleared with the relevant regulators, the cars will go to work in Ireland, Norway, South Africa, and Sweden from next week,” Google said in a blog. All of the vehicles' Wi-Fi data collection equipment, which included Hardware and Software  have been completely removed, Google added.



At the same time, Google is planning to add more countries in time for the cars. Google Geo Engineering Vice President Brian McClendon in the blog post that, “Our cars will no longer collect any Wi-Fi information at all, but will continue to collect photos and 3D imagery as they did before”.
