How to fix Remote Administration when Windows Firewall is enabled

With some of the MMC Snap-ins, the Windows Firewall can affect the Remote Administration. It is required to configure an exception on the Remote Computer for incoming TCP port 445, when the Windows Firewall is enabled on a computer and you get an error message like you don’t have appropriate rights, the network path isn’t found, or access is denied. At the same time, if you want to resolve this issue, you have to enable the Windows Firewall:

Allow Remote Administration Exception policy setting within Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Network\Network Connections\Windows Firewall\Domain Profile. If you fee difficulty with this, you can type the following at a Command Prompt on the Remote Computer.

netsh firewall set portopening tcp 445 smb enable

Now, the choice is yours to select the steps you want to perform.
