Windows Tips: How to customize the menu style for your DVD in Windows DVD Maker

1.    If you wish to customize the menu style for your DVD in Windows DVD Maker, you can click one of the DVD menu styles along the right side of the screen or click customizable menu and then do one or more of the following:
o    First, click the font box and then select a font.
o    Now, you can click the font color, bold or italic buttons to select the font color and formatting.
o    It is required to click browse to locate the video that you wish to display in the foreground and then click open. Remember, this is applicable if you’ve selected a menu style with both foreground and background video options near the foreground video.


o    If you wish to have the picture or video appear as the background for the main DVD menu near background video, it is required to click browse and locate the video that you wish to appear in the background and then click open.
o    If you wish to add a digital media audio file to play as background music while the menu is displayed for your DVD near menu audio, you can click browse to locate the audio file that you wish to use.
o    Then, click on open.
o    Now, click the scenes button styles box and then select the shape for the scenes buttons on your DVD.
o    Besides, if you wish to see the menu as it will appear when you play your DVD, you can click on preview.

2.    Okay, if you’ve done all the steps and want to save the customized DVD menu settings as a new DVD menu style, you can click on Save as new style.
3.    In the style name box, you can type a name for the new customized menu style and then click OK.
4.    After that, you can choose to use this customized DVD menu style for the current DVD and for other DVDs, you can create using the Windows DVD Maker.
