Tips and Software: Search without search box using Bing for iPad –Download the update

In the first three months, there has been a lot of positive feedbacks for Bing for iPad. Moreover, it has more than 5,000 ratings in the App Store and the average of 4.7 stars (out of five stars). At this point of time, Bing is pleased to release an update for Bing for iPad. In this release, you can find some more improvements that you asked for and are excited. The name of the new feature is Lasso. It has been especially designed for touch-friendly devices. Lasso is a new way to search with the touch of a finger. From our research, we know that many searches are inspired by things people see on the web. Today, it can be somewhat painful to search on a tablet when you’re engaged in reading something; just copying and pasting pieces of text from a webpage to a search box can take up to nine steps on the iPad.

With Lasso you can circle and search in just two steps. Besides, this release has come out with an improved movie experience that lets you view multiple show times, days and theatres, the ability to swipe through the last six Bing homepage images and hundreds of quality and performance improvements based on what we heard from you.
If you’re an existing fan of Bing for iPad, you can see the update for it in the App Store. Otherwise, you can download it here. Whatever you’re seeing today is just a beginning. However, Lasso moves Bing beyond the search box. Though Lasso is available only in Bing for iPad as a start, it is expected to be available for all.
