News: Gmail puts a big ad on its sign out page

Very recently, Gmail has added a huge image ad on its sign out page. It is speculated that it is an experiment for the moment. However, I personally feel that it doesn’t make us happy to see the ad. We can say that the ad about the Vistaprint is irrelevant and it's really obtrusive. Moreover, in Gmail, there are no pop-ups or untargeted banner ads whereas, Gmail displays the text ads and related links to make you find them useful.

A Gmail help page explains that "occasionally we may show a banner ad on the Gmail logout page. This ad is different from other ads in Gmail since it's not related to the content of your Gmail account. Instead, it's the same type of ad that appears on the YouTube homepage."
