Google modifies the search results for the suicidal queries

In order to reduce the ratio of the suicides in the US, Google has changed its search results. It has a special result for the suicidal queries. If you type like “I want to die”, “Suicidal thoughts” or “suicide methods” and click the search button, Google will display a special OneBox result that provides the contact phone number of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Dr. Roni Zeiger, the chief health strategies for Google said in an interview that this is the second time Google has added such guidance on troubling the search terms.

Moreover, a few months ago, in the New York Times said that the Google has begun providing the phone number of the National Poison Control hotline after the searches like “Poison Emergence”.
