How good is HP Elite Pad 900?

This is a tablet powered by the latest Windows 8 targeting the corporate sector.  This is the first optimal use of Windows 8.  It has additional features called “Smart Jackets” such as, extendable battery life, keypad, connective ports and storage card slots.  With its sleek design it is pretty similar in its looks to iPad but very light.  The tablet has WI-Fi antennas, screen rotation lock, 3.5 mm headphone jack, micro SIM and SD card slots, 8 MP rear with LED flash camera, two bottom speakers and 10 inch multi-touch display screen with 1280x800 pixels.

The tablet is handed over with two jackets.  One is the expansion and the other is productivity jacket.  The former offers two USB, one HDMI port, card reader and battery with a backup of 20 hrs.  The latter also offers ports and card reader along with the charging port.  This jacket is equipped with magnetic base where the tablet can be positioned as a laptop for use.  A Dock is also issued with Ethernet, HDMI, VGA ports and a Kensington lock.  The tablet is charged as it is docked.  Other features include the inbuilt applications and security features.  With an expandable battery life and package of performance features it gives all in all a great experience with Windows 8.  It comes with a price tag of Rs 43,500 and extra Rs 6999 and Rs 9,999 for both the jackets and a battery of Rs 5,000.
